Tatachilla's 16 Years Girls team have claimed back-to-back State Cross Country Championship titles with another dominant performance.
Aylish Bradley, Annie Hockey and Katie Morris-Fenna became a formidable force at Oakbank Racecourse on 3 June to successfully defend their 2025 championship title and reinforce their status as the best 16 Years Girls cross country team in South Australia.
Their achievement headlined Tatachilla's most successful State Cross Country Championships campaign to date, with the college finishing third overall in the combined team and individual medal tally behind only St Peter's Boys and St Peter's Girls.
Adding to the celebrations, Shay Barker won individual gold in the Para/Multiclass division, while several Tatachilla teams secured podium finishes against some of the state's strongest sporting schools.
The 15 Years Boys team earned silver, improving on last year's bronze medal performance, while the 16 Years Boys team captured bronze, securing their first-ever state championship team medal.
Tatachilla also finished ahead of several long-established cross country powerhouses, highlighting the strength, depth and determination of the college's running program.
