The Arts Scholarship Scholarship is a wonderful way for students to expand their educational opportunities, achieve recognition for their areas of strength and ability and nurture their burgeoning talent.
All scholarship recipients at the college receive a 25% discount on college tuition fees for a period of one academic year. Recipients may re-apply for a scholarship for the subsequent academic year.
Families can read more about Tatachilla’s scholarship program and requirements on our scholarships page.
The Arts Scholarship is designed for future changemakers in visual art, dance, drama, music, lighting and/or sound.
Recipients of the Arts Scholarship will be emerging artists with demonstrable artistic talent and outstanding academic results in one or more of the disciplines above.
It is expected that students who apply for this scholarship will be consistently achieving A grades in their subject of passion (either Visual Art, Dance, Drama, Music or AV Technology), and at least a B grade average across all other subjects, as reflected in their latest school report/s.
They will also show a willingness to make a significant contribution to the college’s Arts Academy.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and either (1) participate in an audition (vocalists, musicians, dancers and actors); (2) submit a portfolio or exhibition piece (visual artists); or (3) complete a practical exercise (aspiring lighting and sound technicians).
