College uniform

This allows students to mix and match a range of interchangeable items that reflect their personal preferences as well as seasonal conditions.

The trans-seasonal wardrobe means that there is no separate summer or winter uniform at the college.

The college uniform enables students to comfortably undertake the full range of indoor and outdoor curricular activities that make up the school week.

It includes both compulsory and optional items, which can be layered as required.

Students in the junior years (Reception to Year 6) wear a different wardrobe to students in the middle and senior years (Year 7 to Year 12). 

The unifying element of the college uniform is the Tatachilla cross, which embodies the college’s faith, culture and heritage. 

The uniform reflects the college’s signature colours of red, charcoal and black.

We believe that the Tatachilla uniform facilitates college pride, equality and unity and that it gives students a strong sense of shared identity. It is expected that all students will uphold the uniform guidelines as a condition of their enrolment and as a contributing member of our college community.
 

Where to buy the Tatachilla uniform

The Tatachilla uniform can be purchased in person or online from The School Locker, a company that specialises in the manufacture and sale of school uniforms. 

The School Locker operates an on-campus shop at Tatachilla Lutheran College that is located on the eastern corner of the college gymnasium. 

The School Locker does not stock secondhand uniform items, though there are several private Facebook groups established by families for this purpose. However, the college does not manage these groups and as such does not take any responsibility for any private secondhand uniform sales made through them (or other channels).
