An independent, coeducational Lutheran school in the heart of McLaren Vale on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. Reception to Year 12.
All Tatachilla students in Year 12 in 2024 successfully attained their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), an internationally recognised qualification awarded to all students who complete Years 10, 11 and 12.
Thirty-five percent of all Year 12 graduates in 2024 achieved grades in the A band.
Eight merits were awarded to Tatachilla students who achieved the perfect score in a Year 12 subject. Six of these students achieved this outstanding academic result while still in Year 11.
In 2024 the college was also delighted to celebrate the achievements of its college dux, who earned an exceptional ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) of 98.85. The college was equally thrilled to celebrate the academic results of its proxime accessit (runner-up dux), who earned an equally distinguished ATAR of 97.20.
Both our college dux and proxime accessit were joined by four of their peers who also achieved an ATAR over 90 in 2024.
The college could not have been more pleased with the SACE results achieved by the Class of 2024 and continues to be excited by the inspired range of careers and life experiences that this cohort has chosen to pursue after school.
Students in Year 12 at Tatachilla are encouraged to take full ownership of their academic and personal goals and make confident subject selections that align with, and are pre-requisites for, their chosen field of future work or study.
The final year of school at Tatachilla reinforces students’ skills in lifelong learning, self-determination, critical thinking, informed risk-taking and the application of emotional and academic intelligence to new contexts.
This combination of factors best positions students to achieve not only the SACE results necessary for entrance into their chosen field of future endeavour, but also the maturity of outlook required to live with resilience, courage and vision.
Tatachilla offers your child the best possible start in life.
